The Original Peoples of North Carolina

On Tuesday July 26 at 6 p.m., educator Tina Smith of the Lam Museum of Anthropology will be sharing the history of Native Americans in North Carolina. Using objects from the Museum’s collections and other primary sources, she will talk about the peoples that were here before Europeans, including discussing how they lived, how their lives have changed over time, and even touching on some contemporary issues in North Carolina.
