
Nonprofit Resource Center
 The Forsyth County Public
Library offers research materials on a wide array of topics of interest to the nonprofit
sector. The NRC collection, found in the Business, Science & ACE Department at the Central Library, is one of over 300
Cooperating Collections affiliated with the Foundation Center
in New York. The Nonprofit Resource Center is available
anytime the library is open. Appointments are available for those who wish to have an in-depth orientation to the
collection and its uses.

- Guide to US Foundations, Their Trustees, Officers and Donors includes basic information on all active grantmaking foundations in the US. (R361.763 G)

FC Search
The Foundation Center's database on CD-ROM covers over 74,500 US foundations and corporate givers. It includes
descriptions of grants and lists trustees, officers and donors. Updated twice a year. Appointments may be made for 2
hours, one day in advance.
The IRS Form 990-PF
This form is filed annually with the Internal Revenue Service by all private foundations. It includes the following
basic information about foundation activities: 1) assets; 2) officers and trustees; 3) list of grants and contributions
paid. Many 990-PFs are available on the internet at the Foundation Center's web site.
