Synopsis and Discussion

Ozone and particle pollution readings are hovering in the upper Code Green range to round out the workweek. Saturday will feature enough cloudiness and enough of a maritime influence to hold AQI readings in the upper Code Green range. By Sunday and Monday, surface flow looks to shift out of the southwest as sunny skies return and high temperatures increase to around 80 degrees. With the same air mass remaining in place and forecast trajectories remaining over land, Moderate air quality is expected for the latter half of the weekend, lasting into the first half of the new workweek.
