    Deputy Jeffrey M. Boysel has been named Sworn Staff Member of the Year for a selfless act of courage where he put his life at risk to save the lives of others.

    PFC Reynolds has been named Detention Staff Member of the Year for a selfless act of courage where he put his life at risk to save the life of a fellow staff member.

    The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce that Sergeant D. Huttar and Sergeant T. Anderson are recipients of the 2011 Rufus Dalton Award. Forsyth County Sheriff William T. Schatzman presented the award on Friday, May 11th, 2012.

    The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 975 is currently seeking qualified female applicants that are interested in learning about a career in law enforcement by becoming a member of the Explorer program.

    DWI Task Force Awarded "Heart of MADD"

    On Friday, February 24th, the Forsyth County DWI Task Force was awarded the “Heart of MADD” award for their outstanding work in the fight against drunk driving.

  9. Citizens’ Patrol Academy Training

    Citizens’ Patrol Academy Training

    On March 29, 2012, eight students successfully completed FCSO Citizens’ Patrol Academy training. The graduates were honored at a graduation ceremony and presented with their graduation certificates by Sheriff Schatzman.

    After 20 years of service to Forsyth County, Captain Donna Holmes retired from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office on February 29, 2012.
