What can you expect to find happening at Teen Central?
- OPEN MIC NITE - where you can showcase your singing, dancing, poetry readings and comedy routines. Karaoke, too.
- STREET LIT BOOK CLUB - a teen appropriate urban literature title is selected each month. Great conversation over snacks. Check the calendar for dates.
- SCI-FI BOOK CLUB - a science fiction and/or fantasy title is selected each month. Great conversation over snacks. Check the calendar for dates.
- A.N.I.M.E CLUB - BRAND NEW!! Share your love of anime and manga with other's like you. A pre-released movie will be viewed each month and new manga reviewed, too. Check the calendar for dates.
- YU-GI-OH CLUB - Perfect your game. Test your deck, and learn new strategies. Bring your own cards. Check the calendar for dates.
Other Cool Stuff
- Teen Advisory Council: If you like to be hands on the great programming at Teen Central and other library branches,
this is the meeting for you. We discuss and plan for upcoming events, like Teen Read Week, Teen Tech Week, and summer
programming. Speak for yourself and help us plan some exciting events.
- Film Fridays: where a movie is shared. (Popcorn included)
- Free Play Game Days: where PS2 and Wii games are enjoyed with friends, new and old.
