Friends of the Lewisville Library Spring Book Sale

The Friends of the Lewisville Library Spring Book Sale starts on Thursday, March 30th with Friends' Night from 6 pm to 8 pm. Current members of the Friends get first chance at the thousands of books on sale. Memberships are available at the door, and current members may also renew their dues.

On Friday, March 31st, the book sale is from 10 am to 5 pm. Hardcover books are $2.00 and paperbacks are $1.00.

Saturday, April 1st from 10 am to 3 pm is Big Bag of Books Day. Bring your own bag or Friends will provide one and take home a full bag of books for only $5.00.

All proceeds from the book sale go to the Friends, who use the money to support Lewisville Branch Library in many wonderful ways--providing new books, audiobooks, DVDs, library supplies and other much needed items. Last year, the Friends supported our Summer Reading programs with special guests, craft supplies and snacks. In the fall, they purchased 2 computers for our Teen area so that our teens have their own space for after school work. We are grateful to the Friends for their hardwork and dedication and we appreciate our community, who donate books and come to our Book Sales. Thank You!
