Book Clubs
Friends of the Kernersville Library Noon Book Club -- Getting together to
discuss an interesting book is a perfect way to spend a lunch hour. If you are interested
in reading new, local authors as well as old favorites, then the Noon Book Club
is for you! We ask authors to facilitate the discussions as often as possible. Group
members and community leaders have led discussions as well. This group has met for
over 25 years and is going strong. We are generously sponsored by the Friends of
the Kernersville Library. Meetings are the 1st Thursday of every month from September
through May in the beautiful Paddison Room of the Kernersville Branch Library from

Friends of the Kernersville Library After 5 Readers Book Club -- Love to
read but short on time? This club is for you! Formed in February 2012, the After
5 Readers focus on bestselling books (both fiction and non-fiction) with lasting
appeal. We will feature a reader’s corner at After 5 Readersto enhance our discussions and allow folks
unable to attend a chance to chime in. Our meetings are on the fourth Monday of
each month from June through April (excluding December) at the Kernersville Branch
