Tax Information for 2009
What You Need to Know About NC Tax Forms
As a cost saving measure, the North Carolina Department of Revenue is no longer
providing North Carolina income tax forms and instruction booklets to public libraries,
post offices, or other public facilities. All library branches are available for
you to come in and use the computers to e-file and print out forms. Please know
that Library staff and volunteers do not provide tax assistance and advice. You
will be responsible for choosing the forms that are right for you.

FREE Federal and State Tax Assistance is Available
Forsyth County residents can once again count on tax assistance from VITA and AARP
at Library locations. Volunteers will be on hand at various times during tax season
for FREE advice and preparation. (Some income and age restrictions apply.)
