Fall Home & Garden Series At The Library
Posted on 8/3/2012
Serious gardeners know that the season does not necessarily end when the days get shorter and the air becomes cooler. In fact there are a variety of things you can do throughout fall and winter that will help prepare your garden for the next growing season.
From now through mid-November the Library, in cooperation with the Forsyth Cooperative Extension Service, will offer 30 different programs ranging from composting to fall lawn care that will keep your yard and garden in great shape for the fall and winter and prepare you for a spectacular growing season in 2013.
All programs are free and open to the public but we ask that you pre-register before attending. To pre-register please call 336 703-2850, or e-mail Kitrinka Gordon.
Programs are led by a Forsyth County Cooperative Extension agent and a Master Gardener volunteer from the community. Programs last between 60 and 90 minutes.
