![]() Child SupportChild Support Enforcement provides the services of locating the absent parent, establishing paternity and a support obligation, collecting support and enforcing court orders for support. Medical insurance or coverage is a part of the support obligation. When an absent parent lives outside of North Carolina, Child Support workers in cooperation with other states work to establish paternity and support in these cases.
