Volunteer Opportunities
Want to volunteer your time to help our animals?
The Forsyth County Animal Shelter has many opportunities for you to volunteer. Many of our programs offer hands-on
volunteering, while others allow you to meet the needs of the animals and community without having to be around the shelter at
all. Which one fits you best?
ADULT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
- Adult Shelter Volunteer: Help walk the dogs, socialize the dogs, clean cages, greet potential adopters, and educate the public

- AniMeals: Pick up donated food from barrels throughout the community, deliver food to the storage house at Ruff Housing
Doggy Day Care, help with organizing routes, help with inventory, package meals, deliver food weekly to the clients, and pass out flyers.
